Prospect Wire Southeast Championships Players & Teams to Watch

Prospect Wire is excited to welcome 50+ teams to Palm Beach for our annual Southeast Championships! This is one of two Prospect Wire events going on this weekend, with the other being out West in Arizona. Two programs will be returning to defend their 2023 Southeast Championship title runs, as the Boca Thunder Baseball & Top Tier Roos programs each took home hardware last summer in this event. We also have the South Florida Bandits returning fresh off their Memorial Weekend Classic 18u Championship!

We have a number of players to keep a close eye on who will look to perform on the field for their teams this weekend. Keep an eye on the @PW_Players Twitter page this weekend as our PW Scouts will be out and around the complex looking for the top performers in each game. Also, 2026, 2027, & 2028 graduates will be watched closely for potential invites to the Prospect Wire All American Weekend.

With over 40 players committed to college in our 17/18u Division be on the look out for some great talent in that division highlighted by FSU Commit Jace Estes (2024 IF-NLB American), Louisville Commit Zane Stahl (2025 RHP-Atlanta Blue Jays 17u), & Longwood University Commit Dylan Wood (2025 RHP-Atlanta Blue Jays 17u).

The South Florida Bandits lead the event with a total of 14 commits. Highlighted by Memorial Weekend Classic tournament Most Valuable Pitcher Jose Paniauga (College of Central Florida) & the Most Valuable Player David Ruesca (Howard College).
